Viewing Alert and Poll Status

Instant Messenger displays a Status window for alerts and polls in the following two situations:

When you send an alert with Show delivery status checked, the following information is displayed:
- User — A list of users to whom you sent the alert.
- Status — The status of the alert:
  Received: Indicates that the recipient has received the alert.
  Read: Indicates that the recipient has read the alert.
  Sent: Indicates that the alert has been sent.
When a user responds to a poll, the question is displayed in the title bar of the Status window. Each respondent’s name is listed, along with the selected response.

The Status window contains the following buttons:

Close — Closes the window. Once closed, you cannot view the alert or poll status any more.
Help — Displays this Help topic.
